I became a nurse because I’ve always loved helping people. Getting to know my patients’ stories—their dreams, challenges, and accomplishments— has always been the highlight to my chosen career path. Being a nurse with many patients who have suffered memory loss—and having close family members affected by dementia—has shown me how powerful photographs can be. Sometimes, a single image is what helps someone remember life’s most special moments. That understanding has made me even more passionate about creating photos that truly matter—images that preserve not just appearances, but emotions and stories, too.

Photography has always been in my blood—many of my aunts, uncles and cousins are photographers—but my love for travel is what truly inspired me to pick up a camera. I wanted to learn how to capture the beauty of the places I visited and the stories within them. With guidance from my uncle, I learned the craft and quickly fell in love with how photography can freeze emotion and energy in a single frame.

Over time, I've explored many genres—maternity, sports, family portraits, weddings—but what drew me most was helping small business owners tell their stories. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to show up confidently and connect with clients on a personal level. That’s why I’ve dedicated my work to personal branding photography, with a special focus on health and wellness professionals—fitness coaches, yoga instructors, pharmacists, dentists, and anyone who’s passionate about helping others live well.

When I'm not working in the hospital or working on my photography business, you can usually find me with my family & close friends- either eating yummy foods, drinking bubble tea, or playing board games! I also enjoy staying active by going to the gym, playing volleyball or softball and snowboarding. As mentioned earlier, I have a huge love for travel and have so far been to 29 countries. I plan to visit 50 by the age of 50!
